From CJ Verdell’s powerful running to Verone McKinley III’s timely interception, the 12th-ranked Oregon Ducks came up with the big plays they needed to pull off the 35-28 upset against the No. 3 Ohio State Buckeyes on Saturday in Columbus, Ohio. In front of 100,482 at Ohio Stadium, Verdell racked up 161 yards on 20 carries and scored two rushing touchdowns and one receiving TD to lead the way in Oregon’s first victory against the Buckeyes in 10 all-time tries.
