Justin Fields rushes for a touchdown in NFL debut; Marshon Lattimore reportedly gets new contract extension: Ohio State NFL roundup

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Justin Fields didn’t get to start in his NFL debut on Sunday night for the Bears in Los Angeles. But in his first game, he found the end zone. Fields got some occasional reps in Sunday night’s 34-14 loss to the Rams. He did rush for a three-yard touchdown in the third quarter. Fields made his debut on the first drive of the game and finished 2-for-2 passing for 10 yards. His only run was the three-yard TD run. Of the quarterbacks who were taken in the first round of April’s draft, Fields and Trey Lance of the 49ers were the only ones who didn’t start. On the other side of the matchup, another former Buckeye, Rams safety Jordan Fuller, led his team with 11 tackles, including six solo stops.
