COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football’s head coach Ryan Day has confirmed that Josh Proctor will miss the rest of the 2021 season. The four-year defensive back had to be carted off the field in the third quarter of the Buckeyes’ 35-28 loss to Oregon in an air cast after suffering a right leg. “Very, very tough injury for him, and prayers are out for him for his family,” Day said on the Buckeye Roundtable radio show. “He did have surgery, and he’s resting safely now and everything so that all went well.
