COLUMBUS, Ohio – For much of Saturday afternoon, the University of Tulsa went toe-to-toe with one of the top programs in college football. As a significant underdog at Ohio Stadium, the Hurricane was within a touchdown of No. 9 Ohio State while driving in the fourth quarter. Instead of an improbable upset, a 41-20 defeat followed. Looking to tie the game in front of a low-energy crowd, TU faced a crucial third down in Buckeye territory. With three starting offensive linemen sidelined by injuries, quarterback Davis Brin was sacked for a loss of 17 yards.
