
COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football came out of its loss to Oregon searching for difference-makers on both sides of the ball. It found both in its freshman class in Saturday’s 41-20 victory over Tulsa. After C.J. Stroud won the first two Big Ten Freshman of the Week awards, TreVeyon Henderson will give the Buckeyes their third winner in as many weeks on Monday. He already was the obvious choice for OSU’s Offensive Player of the Game. Henderson rushed for an OSU freshman-record 277 yards on only 24 carries, scoring three touchdowns in the process. Yet it was the way in which the Virginia native went about making history that left an indelible impression.
