Ohio State offensive line coach Greg Studrawa returns after missing game due to back surgery

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football’s coaching staff will be back at full strength Saturday against Akron. Ohio State coach Ryan Day said on his radio show that offensive line coach Greg Studrawa has missed “a couple of weeks” due to back surgery. Studrawa did not attend last Saturday’s victory over Tulsa. He had been communicating remotely for meetings and watching film “from the hospital bed.” Day said Studrawa recently returned to the Woody Hayes Athletic Complex. Studrawa had to watch from afar when the offensive line turned in its best run blocking performance of the season. TreVeyon Henderson rushed for 277 yards and three touchdowns, reaching the second level easily through massive holes. Without Studrawa, the Buckeyes’ offensive line also adjusted to the loss of four-year starter Thayer Munford due to a lower leg injury.
