
COLUMBUS, Ohio — This season, Luke Wypler wasn’t expecting to be Ohio State football’s center, even if he prepared as if he was. That work is why he was ready to step up when Harry Miller went down with an undisclosed injury before the Minnesota game. Then he built on it against Oregon. Then again against Tulsa. Again against Akron. Now it looks like it may have just locked down his spot in his second year in the program. “I wasn’t, honestly, expecting it going into the beginning of the season, but things happen,” Wypler said. “Like I always say, you have to be ready.
