Rutgers vs. Ohio State: Predictions for how Scarlet Knights will fare

Rutgers put up a fight in the second half last season against Ohio State. This year the Scarlet Knights will be looking to do that from the beginning. Greg Schiano’s team trailed by 32 points at halftime against the Buckeyes in Columbus last season before falling 49-27.  Ohio State leads the all-time series, 7-0.  Can Rutgers end its losing streak against the Buckeyes this season?  Here’s what we think:  Chris Iseman, Rutgers beat writer I think Rutgers will manage to keep it close, even closer than last season’s matchup, but at this point I’m not sure its offense has enough firepower to keep up with Ohio State.
