
There have been many impressive aspects of Greg Schiano’s Rutgers rebuild over the last 22 or so months. Perhaps the most remarkable has been the Scarlet Knights’ ability to avoid the ugly game day debacles that tanked his predecessor’s tenure. Rutgers has lost more games than it has won since Schiano returned. But none by the type of you-wince-when-you-see-it-on-the-ESPN-ticker margins that were seemingly a weekly occurrence during the Chris Ash era. There has always been something positive or promising to take away in defeat. But not this time. The Scarlet Knights have made significant strides.
