What is Ohio State football running back TreVeyon Henderson’s status against Maryland?


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football running back TreVeyon Henderson apparently had no lingering effects from whatever knocked him out of last Saturday’s win over Rutgers. Buckeyes coach Ryan Day said Tuesday that the freshman is “good to go” for Saturday’s home game against Maryland. Henderson rushed for 71 yards on eight first-quarter carries against Rutgers, including a 44-yard touchdown. Early in the second quarter, though, he went to the medical tent and later emerged without his helmet. He never returned to the game, though Ohio State was already in complete control by halftime. Day said after the game that Henderson could have returned to action, but it was his decision to hold him out.
