
COLUMBUS, Ohio — As much as injuries are part of college football, you could hear the impact of Jantzen Dunn’s apparent season-ending leg injury in Ohio State coach Ryan Day’s voice Thursday. Day announced on his radio show that Dunn, a true freshman safety, had suffered a “long-term” injury during a special teams play against Rutgers. Dunn had already come back from one injury this season. While he played sparingly on defense, Day said the Bowling Green, Kentucky, native’s progress was noticeable. “It hurts, the way it all went down,” said Day, who did not specify the extent of the injury. “He had done a good job the week before.
