The first half of No. 6 Ohio State’s 2021 football season is in the books and what a journey it’s been for the Buckeyes. From the preseason expectations, which never change, to the realization after Week 2 that this team had some very real flaws to the the changes over the last few weeks that seem to have put the Scarlet and Gray back in the national spotlight, it’s been an interesting ride so far. Ohio State’s roller coaster season continued on a climb on Saturday with a 66-17 win against visiting Maryland. The Terrapins came back to Earth the last two weeks with heavy losses to two of the Big Ten’s better teams, but were still expected to at least challenge this Buckeye side. They did not.
