He’d played the position before as a four-star athlete at Blessed Trinity Catholic High School in Georgia before becoming part of the Buckeyes’ 2019 recruiting class. But he came to Columbus to run the ball. After two years in the backfield, he’d decided to try a new position, alternating between offense and defense during spring before fully buying into linebacker before during fall camp.
