The Buckeyes routed Akron, Rutgers and Maryland by a combined 177-37 score the last three weeks after stumbling to begin the year with a loss to Oregon sandwiched by shaky wins against Minnesota and Tulsa. Ohio State coach Ryan Day wanted to keep as normal a routine as possible last week to continue the surge. The No. 5 Buckeyes (5-1) did the things a team typically does during an off week.
