
COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football’s 2022 recruiting class finally has a defensive lineman in Kenyatta Jackson of Chaminade-Madonna Prep in Florida. The four-star recruit chose the Buckeyes over Alabama and Oklahoma as the nation’s No. 78 player and No. 7 edge rusher. His commitment marks the first addition to their 2022 recruiting class since July 9, when offensive tackle George Fitzpatrick joined. It’s also the first defensive lineman and seventh defensive player overall. Jackson was on a long list of defensive linemen OSU was hoping would be the first to come along, ideally opening up the door for others to follow.
