
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — C.J. Stroud might be the favorite to win the Heisman Trophy after his performance in Ohio State football’s 54-7 win over Indiana. The first-year starter completed 21-of-28 passes for 266 yards and four touchdowns, often making things look easy. An immediate reaction suggests that Stroud didn’t have a bad throw or a bad decision tonight. His incompletions were either a dropped ball by a receiver or an Indiana defensive back making a good play on a 50-50 ball. He showed poise and patience in the pocket while also being willing to make plays with his arm when necessary. He even continued to add to his growing list of impressive throws to Jaxon Smith-Njigba.
