BLOOMINGTON, Indiana — Let us open this discussion of Ohio State football’s latest immolation of a lesser opponent with a small nitpick. Through two drives in Memorial Stadium on Saturday night, Indiana played the Buckeyes even. A Hoosier offense that has tripped all over itself all season ran all over OSU on a methodical march. In the absence of a genuine challenge, No. 5 Ohio State football can only hold itself to a standard of dominance. Saturday’s 54-7 incineration of Indiana — a lopsided debacle in miserable conditions — extended the Buckeyes’ streak of laughers to four. As distant as the loss to Oregon on Sept. 11 now seems, so too is the follow-up clunky victory over Tulsa almost forgotten.
