Tyquan Lewis’ season is over after suffering knee injury on his first career interception: Ohio State NFL roundup

COLUMBUS, Ohio — It was a play that should have been special for Colts defensive end Tyquan Lewis. The former Buckeye had his first career interception late in the second quarter on Sunday against the Titans. But he went to the ground without contact and left the game on a cart. Frank Reich told reporters including Joel A. Erickson of the Indianapolis Star on Monday that Lewis’ injury will end his season. Lewis has played in 41 games for the Colts since being drafted in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft and has 52 tackles, 8.5 sacks and 15 tackles for loss. He was in the final year of his rookie contract. On Sunday, Lewis also had a sack and a tackle for loss before leaving the game.
