
COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football’s wide receiver corps hasn’t had a 100-yard game in three weeks. Jaxon Smith-Njigba has flirted with the milestone the last two games — 99 yards against Indiana, 97 against Penn State on six catches apiece. But it hasn’t been since a 66-17 win over Maryland that Smith-Nijgba had 103 yards on five catches, second-best to Chris Olave’s 120 and a touchdown on seven catches. A trip to Nebraska seems like a good trip for those two and Garrett Wilson to get back to that standard. All three hit the century mark in the 35-28 loss to Oregon — but that was an unbalanced offensive approach that led to C.J. Stroud throwing 54 passes.
