
COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State redshirt freshman quarterback Jack Miller III was arrested by Ohio State Highway patrol officers Friday morning and charged with operating a vehicle while impaired. Bucknuts first reported the news, and an Ohio State spokesman confirmed. Miller has been suspended from the team. Ohio State said Miller was released from custody and issued a summons to appear in court. Miller has served as Ohio State’s third-string quarterback this season behind starter C.J. Stroud and backup Kyle McCord. The Scottsdale, Arizona, native played in four games, completing 7 of 14 passes for 101 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions. He played in two games as a true freshman, leading a late touchdown drive against Nebraska in last season’s opener. Coincidentally, Ohio State plays at Nebraska on Saturday.
