Center Luke Wypler recovers fumble to help preserve Ohio State football's win at Nebraska

LINCOLN, Neb. — Ohio State center Luke Wypler slid down onto the Memorial Stadium turf like a baseball player heading into second base. Less than two minutes remained in the Buckeyes’ 26-17 victory at Nebraska on Saturday afternoon when Garrett Nelson, a linebacker for the Cornhuskers, burst into the backfield and stripped the ball from quarterback C.J. Stroud, causing it to roll toward their 45-yard line. Wypler had recognized the loose ball and pounced on it, maintaining possession for Ohio State.
