
COLUMBUS, Ohio — On a day when Jaxon Smith-Njigba piled up 240 yards on 15 receptions and Chris Olave added 61 more yards and a touchdown, did Ohio State football still miss Garrett Wilson? One play highlighted the absence. In the final minute of the first half, with the Buckeyes driving to extend a narrow lead, C.J. Stroud targeted Marvin Harrison Jr. on a sideline out route that would have both gained a chunk of yardage and stopped the clock. Harrison sure looks poised to eventually become a tremendous college receiver. But this particular pass glanced harmlessly off his hands as he attempted to make the catch mid-air.
