The Ohio State basketball team got the season off the ground on Tuesday night in dramatic fashion. The Buckeyes got out to an early lead and went into halftime with the lead, but the second twenty minutes was a back and forth affair that left things in doubt. It wasn’t a clinic on offense by any means, but it was an example of battling through adversity and finishing the game strong. Akron found a way to take the lead on a four-point play with just over six seconds remaining, but Ohio State would find a way to get the ball over half court and then draw up — and execute — a game-winning layup to send fans home happy with a 67-66 victory.
