
COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State and Purdue have formed an unlikely cross-divisional Big Ten rivalry over the past 20 years. Yet never during that stretch have the teams met with stakes as high as Saturday’s 3:30 p.m. kickoff at Ohio Stadium. The Buckeyes need a victory to remain in the playoff hunt after moving into the top four of the CFP rankings last week. They are also attempting to remain at least one full game up on Michigan State and Michigan in the East Division standings before playing them in the final two weeks. Purdue entered the CFP rankings at No. 24 and is trying to pull its third top-five upset of the season after previously beating Iowa and the Spartans. It also is trying to break out of a four-team tie atop the West standings and reach the Big Ten championship game for the first time. Follow along below…
