Ohio State looking good in Joel Klatt’s weekly top 10

Ohio State came into the game against Purdue on upset alert. After seeing the Boilermakers rain on both Michigan State and Iowa’s parades, the Buckeyes we’re not going to be caught sleeping. Ohio State came out of the gates on fire, lighting up the scoreboard early and often. Purdue didn’t know what hit it giving up 45 points in the first half alone. Was the performance enough to move the Bucks up in Joel Klatt’s weekly ranking? In short… no. Ryan Day’s squad, even after a dominant performance over No. 19 Purdue stayed in the exact same spot as the previous week. Coming in at the fourth spot isn’t bad, but after Klatt’s No. 2 Sooners fell to Baylor, the spot was there for the taking. However, for some reason, Alabama’s spanking of New Mexico State was more impressive as he moved the Crimson Tide up to No. 2 leapfrogging…
