
COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State was once considered a no-brainer for four-star 2022 defensive end Marvin Jones Jr., but will not be one of his final options after leaving the program off his top five list on Sunday. Jones Jr.’s top five included Florida State, Alabama, Georgia, Texas A&M and Oklahoma. His father, Marvin Jones, played for the Seminoles in the early 1990s. “My Dad went to Florida State so every chance he got to take me to a game that’s where I was,” he told cleveland.com earlier this year. “Right now Florida State isn’t where it used to be, but the people I’ve met there a lot of them have stuck around.
