COLUMBUS, Ohio — Five-star cornerback and former Ohio State football commit Jaheim Singletary has committed to Georgia. The nation’s No. 18 player and No. 5 cornerback was once looked at as perhaps the most impressive get in the Buckeyes’ 2022 recruiting class. He chose the Bulldogs over 28 other schools. Singletary very quickly joined the class on Jan. 2, just two months after earning an offer and establishing a relationship with Kerry Coombs. That commitment lasted until August, but the idea of him eventually reopening his process had been on the table since his official visit on June 25. He was the third player to leave the class in the summer, joining Indiana commit Dasan McCullough and Benji Gosnell, who is trending towards a Virginia Tech commitment.
