After Jim Harbaugh opened his tenure at Michigan going 0-5 versus Ohio State, the Wolverines head coach finally snapped his losing streak against the Buckeyes on Saturday in Ann Arbor. No. 5 Michigan topped No. 2 Ohio State, 42-27, but it wouldn’t have been possible without Hassan Haskins’ stunning, standout performance. The Wolverines’ senior running back finished the game with 29 carries for 169 yards and averaged six yards a carry. But his biggest contribution to the W was a whopping five touchdowns — accounting for all but one of Michigan’s trips to the end zone against the Buckeyes. Haskins was an incredible force and tore Ohio State’s slow and struggling defense apart, as he posted his season-high total for rushing yards in a single game.
