
ANN ARBOR, Michigan — Ten years ago, Michigan interrupted a seven-game losing streak against Ohio State with a 40-34 victory in The Big House. At the time the Buckeyes were a program in transition, at their most vulnerable point in years. The Wolverines needed to build momentum off of that victory and reclaim their half of the rivalry. Instead, Ohio State hired Urban Meyer, which led to Ryan Day, which resulted in an eight-games-and-growing winning streak.
