Michigan basks in win over Buckeyes, but knows focus must shift to Iowa


ANN ARBOR, Mich. — There’s a rule within the Michigan football program that embodies the one-game-at-a-time approach of Jim Harbaugh. Any time the Wolverines score a win, like they did in grand fashion on Saturday, a 42-27 victory over archrival Ohio State, they have 24 hours to celebrate. And while that policy remains in effect, it wasn’t too difficult to get Harbaugh and his players to bask in the glow of their upset win over the Buckeyes on Monday. “For many of us, that was a tremendous, tremendous weekend and game,” Harbaugh told reporters at Schembechler Hall. “Many of the players have texted me, ‘That was the best ever.’ And I’m right there with ‘em.” Still, Harbaugh acknowledges, his team must quickly turn the page to Iowa, the West Division champion waiting in the wings to play Michigan for the Big Ten championship Saturday night in Indianapolis (8 p.m., FOX).…
