Ohio State basketball upsets top-ranked Duke 71-66 with 15-point comeback in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State basketball pulled off its biggest win of the year by knocking off top-ranked Duke at home 71-66 Wednesday night in the Big Ten-ACC Challenge at the Schottenstein Center. Sparked by a three-point shot from Cedric Russell with 2:32 to play and a drawn charge by E.J. Liddell shortly thereafter, the Buckeyes erased a 15-point deficit pulling off the upset and giving the Blue Devils their first loss of the season. The hero of the night, however, was center Zed Key, who kept challenging the Duke big men — starting center Mark Williams was handcuffed with four fouls down the stretch while backup Theo John fouled out.
