‘It’s hard to play hard’: Penn State men’s basketball searches for complete ‘40 minutes’ after loss to Ohio State


STATE COLLEGE — John Harrar offered his help to headline writers Sunday night underneath the Bryce Jordan Center. Earlier in the evening, Penn State dropped its Big Ten opener to Ohio State, and Harrar was explaining his mindset during his team’s up-and-down start to the season. Winning is difficult, the fifth-year senior said, but so is losing. So the team needs to prepare and be ready for a tough task on a nightly basis, especially with league play in a difficult Big Ten ramping up over the next few weeks. “It’s not easy,” Harrar said. “You can make that your headline.
