Ohio State basketball re-enters Associated Press Top 25 Poll at No. 21


COLUMBUS, Ohio — After spending two weeks unranked, the Ohio State basketball team has returned to the Associated Press Top 25 Poll coming in at No. 21. The Buckeyes’ resume got a significant boost by upsetting top-ranked Duke — who dropped to No. 3 — 71-66 at home as part of the ACC/Big Ten Challenge. Then followed up by beating Penn State on Sunday night. That win marked the second-straight week that the nation’s No. 1 team was upset with the Blue Devils knocking off Gonzaga. For OSU, the win meant getting a signature victory and a must-needed morale boost in what will be head coach Chris Holtmann’s only game against the legendary Mike Krzyzewski.
