
COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football is still in search of 2022 defensive line additions. While clear options are well known, another has just emerged. Jihaad Campbell is the nation’s No. 78 player and No. 9 edge rusher. After six months in the class, he has decommitted from Clemson. The four-star is a New Jersey native who transferred to IMG Academy for his senior year. He’s the second top-100 recruit to decommit from the Tigers this week, joining safety Keon Sabb. Sabb is the nation’s No. 94 player and No. 9 safety and was at one point was targeted by the Buckeyes until he committed while they zeroed in on Xavier Nwankpa — now an Iowa commit — and Zion Branch.
