
NEW YORK — Buckeye Talk subscribers recently voted Desmond Howard as their No. 1 Michigan football villain of all time. He gave Ohio State football fans another reason to fume during Saturday night’s Heisman Trophy presentation. During an interview segment with all four finalists, Michigan defensive end Aidan Hutchinson said the team was motivated to beat Ohio State and win the Big Ten championship. The presence of Buckeyes quarterback C.J. Stroud a few feet away set off some nervous laughter in the crowd at Lincoln Center. A smiling Hutchinson gestured to Stroud, who did not look overly amused by the exchange. Hutchinson, though, merely gave an honest answer about how important it was to finally beat the Buckeyes. Only the most sensitive fans would get upset about that exchange.
