Ohio State basketball’s game against Tennessee Martin canceled following COVID-19 outbreak


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State basketball’s game against Tennessee Martin on Tuesday has been canceled. This is the second straight game the Buckeyes have had to cancel following a series of positive COVID-19 tests within their program missing out on a chance to play Kentucky in the CBS Sports Classic. Neither game will be rescheduled and all team-related activities continue to be suspended. OSU is 8-2 this year and 2-0 in the Big Ten as the nation’s No. 15 team on a four-game winning streak. The Skyhawks are 4-7 and lost their only other game against a ranked opponent this season in a 90-62 loss to No. 18 Tennessee. Fans who purchased tickets to the UT Martin game will be refunded and will receive direct communication via email with more information.
