Ohio State’s next scheduled game is Dec. 28, at home against New Orleans. Ohio State has canceled a second men’s basketball game due to a COVID-19 outbreak within the program. After pausing all team activities Thursday and canceling a Saturday game against Kentucky in Las Vegas, the Buckeyes underwent another round of testing Sunday morning with the hopes that they could resume practicing in advance of a Tuesday home game against Tennessee-Martin. Following those testing results, the game against the Skyhawks was canceled. All fans who purchased tickets through the university or Ticketmaster.com will receive refunds. All team activities remain suspended for the Buckeyes. The outbreak started with one positive test. Once Ohio State coach Chris Holtmann learned that a player had tested positive, a Thursday morning weightlifting session was immediately shut down and players were sent to the practice gym for PCR tests.
