From checking social media followings for the Florida Gators new coaching staff, it was apparent that the staff was targeting quarterbacks currently in the NCAA Transfer Portal. One of those names the staff had zeroed in on was Ohio State transfer Jack Miller. The new Florida coaching staff extended him an offer after arriving in Gainesville and added him to the fold as part of the future of the Gators program. Miller joins a quarterback room at Florida that currently has Emory Jones, Anthony Richardson, Carlos Del-Rio Wilson, and Jalen Kitna in it. However, Jones is expected to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal himself after the conclusion of the Gators bowl game against UCF later this month, so Miller comes into a room that is already down one of those bodies.
