Badgers 2, Buckeyes 2: Three stars and three key plays from the Wisconsin men's hockey tie and shootout loss against No. 17 Ohio State

Jesper Peltonen scored his first goal for the University of Wisconsin men’s hockey team with 5:34 left in regulation but Ohio State’s Georgii Merkulov equalized 40 seconds later in a 2-2 tie at the Kohl Center on Sunday. The 17th-ranked Buckeyes won the shootout 2-1 in four rounds when Eric Cooley scored. Three stars No. 3: Peltonen’s first goal in 71 games for UW briefly provided a lead.
