
COLUMBUS, Ohio — Michael Doss spent his Ohio State football career joining exclusive clubs. One of only eight three-time All-Americans. Three-time first-team All-Big Ten selection. And of course, national champion, after he returned for the 2002 season. Doss joined another exclusive group when he became the 27th Buckeye player elected to the College Football Hall of Fame. The safety will be inducted during the National Football Foundation’s 64th annual awards dinner in December. Doss was a unanimous All-American after the 2002 season — his third straight first-team selection. He was a Thorpe Award finalist that season and was named Defensive MVP of the BCS national championship game victory over Miami. No OSU defensive back has collected more tackles than Doss, and he led the Buckeyes in tackles as both a sophomore and junior.
