Ohio State Adds Jan. 18 Home Game to Its Schedule, Opponent Still Yet to Be Announced

Ohio State has added a home game to its schedule. Per an announcement on the Chris Holtmann Radio Show on 97.1 The Fan Monday, the Buckeyes will play at 7 p.m. on the Big Ten Network on Jan. 18 to help make up for the three game cancellations the program suffered due to an extended COVID-19 layoff. The Buckeyes’ opponent is still to be determined. Holtmann had previously stated that Ohio State would look to schedule another home game after the cancellations, and the Buckeyes had nearly a week in between games next week. The Buckeyes take on Penn State at noon at home on Sunday, but didn’t have another game scheduled thereafter until a Jan. 22 matchup with Nebraska. Ohio State, which fell from No. 13 to No. 16 in Monday’s updated AP poll, will be back on the court this Thursday for a road game against Wisconsin.
