Ohio State football didn’t play in the College Football Playoffs this past season, nor did the Buckeyes win the Big Ten Conference. But they did beat Utah in a memorable Rose Bowl game and their quarterback was a Heisman Trophy finalist. Yes, Ohio State is going to enter into the 2022 season with typical high-expectations. And perhaps all is valid. Despite the Buckeyes losing multiple starters on the offensive line, star receivers Garrett Wilson and Chris Olave and a handful of defensive players, OSU still returns several standouts beyond quarterback C.J. Stroud. Running backs TreVeyon Henderson and Miyan Williams will be in the backfield and the Buckeyes should have depth there even with the absence of Master Teague. At receiver, Jaxon Smith-Njigba will enter the season as perhaps the best wideout in the country. And he’s flanked by what could be the deepest receiving group in the country. Ohio State…
