COLUMBUS, Ohio — Jake Diebler hadn’t even completely sat down in his chair as he walked into the interview room to talk with reporters following Ohio State basketball’s 95-87 win over Northwestern. “It sure helps to have E.J. Liddell.” Liddell had his best college performance when the Buckeyes were without head coach Chris Holtmann and lead assistant Ryan Pedon, both in health and safety protocols. But he was far from the only reason for the win.
