Without top scorer Seth Lundy, Penn State upset bid at No. 16 Ohio State falls short, 61-56


The Penn State men’s basketball team has navigated the first two months of its season with a small margin for error. Some of that was due to personnel issues early in the season. Some of it is because of the Nittany Lions’ slow pace of play creating close games. Penn State often attempts to make its opponents be perfect in games. But that means the Nittany Lions need to be near perfection, too. On Sunday afternoon, Penn State went cold too often and couldn’t close the gap in the second half in a 61-56 loss to No. 16 Ohio State at Value City Arena in Columbus, Ohio.
