Ohio State, which had a 22-day COVID-19 layoff in December, is now scheduled to go nine days between games. Ohio State’s Saturday’s home men’s basketball game with Nebraska has been postponed due to COVID-19 issues within the Cornhuskers program. According to a press release, Nebraska’s active roster fell below the Big Ten threshold of seven players. Both programs will work with the Big Ten to reschedule the game. Ohio State’s next game is scheduled for Jan. 27 , when the Buckeyes play at Minnesota. The Golden Gophers had to postpone Tuesday night’s game against Penn State due to COVID issues within their program.
