The No. 5 Ohio State men’s tennis team swept No. 1 Tennessee 4-0 Friday night at the Ty Tucker Tennis Center. The Buckeyes (6-0) took the doubles point to open the match with wins by Robert Cash/Matej Vocel and JJ Tracy/Cannon Kingsley. James Trotter at No. 3 singles won 6-0, 6-1, and Tracy won 7-6 (7-4), 6-3 at No. 4 to put the Buckeyes on the verge of victory, Kingsley clinched it at No. 2 singles 7-6 (9-7), 7-5. He trailed 6-4 in the first-set tiebreak before rallying. Robert Cash had match point leading 7-6 (7-2), 5-2 at No. 5 singles when Kingsley won his match.
