COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State basketball was originally scheduled to host Nebraska on Jan. 22 until the Cornhuskers had a COVID-19 outbreak. Now the game has a new date for March 1 at 7 p.m. on the Big Ten Network. The Buckeyes won the first meeting in Lincoln 87-79 in overtime when Malaki Branham scored a career-high 35 points in what was a breakout game. Ohio State will play six other games leading up to Nebraska starting Wednesday night on the road against Rutgers. The Cornhuskers — who’ve been on a 10-game losing streak since that loss — will host Minnesota on Wednesday. The second meeting between the two is the first of two Big Ten games OSU needed to reschedule with the other being a home game against Iowa that was supposed to happen last Thursday.
