
COLUMBUS, Ohio — Seth Towns has yet to play a game for Ohio State basketball this year and now he’ll miss the rest of the season. The sixth-year senior underwent back surgery after last season and has spent the year rehabbing. Towns’ college career got off to a great start at Harvard where he averaged 12.3 points as a freshman and 16 points as a sophomore earning Ivy League Player of the Year honors during the 2017-18 season. He’s since had a series of injuries that forced him to miss his last two seasons before graduating and joining the Buckeyes in 2020. He saw action in 25 games last season averaging 3.8 points off the bench including a season-high 12 points against Purdue in the Big Ten Tournament.
