Seven Ohio State players have been invited to the NFL combine, which starts March 1 in Indianapolis. Wide receivers Garrett Wilson and Chris Olave, defensive tackle Haskell Garrett, defensive end Tyreke Smith, offensive linemen Nicholas Petit-Frere and Thayer Munford, and tight end Jeremy Ruckert were selected. It will be the smallest contingent of Buckeyes at the combine since 2015 when the Buckeyes sent only four players. But while this group of Buckeyes might be relatively low in quantity, it doesn’t lack quality. Wilson and Olave are projected to be first-round picks.
