Sacca, a 2025 safety from St. Joseph’s Prep in Philadelphia, was offered by former Ohio State secondary coach Matt Barnes on Dec. 16. Then, on Jan. 3, Memphis hired Barnes to be its defensive coordinator. After the coaching change, there was no telling if Sacca’s offer still held any weight.
